Mr. Aizen is a serial entrepreneur, university professor of entrepreneurship, and experienced CEO and board member with a track record of driving growth across organizations ranging from early-stage ventures to multi-billion-dollar, multinational enterprises. He is an inventor of innovative technologies in digital healthcare, chronic disease management, pharmacy benefits, and sports training, focused on developing scalable solutions that improve both clinical and financial outcomes.
As Chairman and CEO of Overture Health Care, Mr. Aizen leads a team that partners with C-suite executives to deliver value across hospital pharmacy, pharmacy benefit strategy, population health management, and the development of advanced digital health platforms. His work centers on aligning clinical insight, data, and technology to produce measurable results.
A recognized thought leader, Mr. Aizen has conceptualized and developed AI-driven healthcare solutions that have improved the health of hundreds of thousands of patients across the United States.
Previously, Mr. Aizen served as Chairman and CEO of American Health Care, which he exited in 2018 through a successful asset sale to a private equity firm. As an owner and Chief Operating Officer of SUNRx, Inc., he led the company’s transformation from a start-up into a national leader in PBM transparency. Under his leadership, SUNRx was recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine, the Inc. 500, and the Philadelphia Business Journal as one of the fastest-growing companies in the country.
Mr. Aizen also founded Key Benefit Solutions and Strategic Health Care Investors, both focused on expanding the healthcare technology sector. His broader experience includes leadership roles with Rite Aid Corporation, Waterford Crystal, Wedgwood China, Price Waterhouse, and Envision Pharmaceutical Services, as well as serving as a partner in a boutique private equity firm.
He earned a BS in Business and Finance from Drexel University and obtained his CPA license (inactive) from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Outside of his professional work, Mr. Aizen values time with his wife, three daughters, and three grandchildren, and enjoys travel, woodworking, running, golf, boating, fishing, reading, and collecting wine.
